I Don’t Have Time For Podcasts: “So, is this how it’s gonna be?”

The show
I’m behind on all of my podcasts because I’ve been at the Code Conference all week, and it’s been almost three months since I wrote here a show that I produce. SOOOO time for an easy lay-up: You should listen to “Too Embarrassed to Ask!” It’s a Recode podcast about consumer tech hosted by Lauren Goode and Kara Swisher; every week, they answer tech questions that were submitted by listeners and readers, often with an expert guest in tow.
The episode
We’ve taped almost 75 episodes of this show, but the episode of “Too Embarrassed” that dropped today is seriously one of my all-time favorites: Recode co-founder Walt Mossberg (whom you might remember from this newsletter) joined Lauren and Kara to answer questions about his 46-year career in journalism, from which he is retiring next month. But we pulled a little prank on Walt, convincing a bunch of tech celebs — including Mark Cuban, Bill Gates and Sheryl Sandberg — to send in questions, too.
How to listen
You can listen to “Too Embarrassed to Ask” on Recode’s website, and there are links there to all the usual places where you can subscribe: Apple Podcasts, Google Play Music, etc.
My stuff
Want more podcasts? Here are the other shows I’ve appeared on or produced in the past week:
- “Recode Decode”: Anki CEO Boris Sofman
- “Recode Media”: Actor Michael McKean
- “Recode Replay”: Full coverage of the 2017 Code Conference, which was fantastic. Some personal fav sessions: Dean Baquet, Jill Soloway and Hillary Clinton.
The weekly puppy picture
Happy listening!
